Rising Star - The rewarding sleep clock Rising Star is a different type of sleep clock - not only does it encourage children to stay in bed, but it rewards them for doing so. As parents, one of the biggest challenges we face is helping our child understand when it’s time to wake up.
Little ones don’t come with built - in clocks, and their idea of ‘morning’ can be any hour the sun, a dream, or pure energy decides. That can mean 5 a.m. wake - up calls, disrupted routines, and exhausted days. Teaching your child the difference between night and day really matters. Rising Star uses traffic light colours that children understand: Red: It’s nighttime Amber: It’s nearly time to get up Green: Time to start the day!
Move Rising Star up the strap every time your child stays in bed, to reveal a surprise rainbow light show at the end of the week. The gold star sticker can be given as a reward for positive reinforcement. 30 gold star stickers are supplied to be used on an y star chart or you can download and print one of our specially designed charts.
Simply push the front of the star at bedtime to turn on the light. Rising Star’s gentle red glow provides reassurance if your child wakes during the night. The amber time is adjustable between 0 and 60 minutes and lets them know it’s nearly morning. Green, it’s morning and the opportunity to congratulate your child as Rising Star is moved up the strap.
